WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR YOU

We will be checking your audience in before your show.

We can also deal with people wishing to buy tickets on the door, and we will send money on to you with a small handling fee retained for card transactions.

We will be in the room during your show, so can deal with any crowd control issues.

We will make sure everything is working, lights on, sound on etc.

We will help you plug in your laptop or phone into any connection you may need during the show.

If you have already submitted any tech requests, (too late to send us anything new now!), we have that all arranged.

WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU (NOT JUST BE FUNNY!)

Stick to your time. Please do not overrun. Even if you are the last show of the day, we have other tasks to take care of.

If you are now no longer going ahead, please email us and copy in rae@glasgowcomedyfestival.com as soon as you have decided so we can remove from sale, arrange staffing etc.

We need your customers' names to check them in efficiently. Visit here: https://console.seetickets.com/events

Once in here, click on your event, and hit customer data.

That will produce a list of names, print this or copy by handwriting them onto a separate page and bring with you and hand to whoever from our team is there on arrival at the venue.

Please do not contact venues as it just causes more hassle than we need. We have 180 shows so a lot to keep track of over four venues. The venues are not wanting to deal with any queries in the run up, their role is to let us have use of their room and make drinks sales on the night.

Also check which venue you are at, which might sound like a ridiculous thing to say but last year an act was late for their own show by going to the wrong venue - buy us a drink and we will spill who it was!

Also please remember, unless you are the first show of the day, there will be a show on before so do not come into the room until the audience comes out. If you have any props or that need to be set up, we will help you but we need to get the previous audience out, glasses collected and reset for you.
MARKETING

If you haven’t already, don’t bother sending any more flyers and posters, probably not worth your cost and time now.

If you are doing social media posts, tag us, ask us to collaborate where appropriate. We will ALWAYS accept, and share when we are tagged. Our social media pages are easily found. We are on Instagram and Facebook. You don’t need to contact us to ask us to share.

Also tag the festivals pages.

We will be doing our own daily posts plugging all shows at our 4 venues.

We have paid Meta ads running currently to drive traffic to our venues.

If you want to exit the flyer any show before you, it is fine with us, as long as you are not an obstruction to foot traffic. But please ask the act doing the show in question.

AFTER THE FESTIVAL

We do not have your money! For payouts you need to follow the instructions on Seetickets who hold all ticket income. They send very quickly once you invoice them, but act fast if you need the cash!
