Our Booking Process

We receive a lot of messages, whatsapps, emails et cetera about getting booked onto one of our shows.  We don't have the time or the setup to book acts like this.

 

If you want to be booked by us there are a few ways to do that.

 

Firstly, we have two mailing lists for acts to perform at one our Edinburgh, Glasgow, On The Road, or Festival shows.  One is for unpaid spots - they tend to be at our smaller midweek shows, and we use this for booking in people we want to see on our stage, and progress them to the paid spots mailing list.

Anyone can be on the unpaid list, so if you wish to be on this list if not already on it, please email hey@goodeggcomedy.co.uk and we will add you to the list.  When opportunities arise, we will email the entire list and then select the act that works best for that room and is a nice contrast to the other performers on the line up.

If you wish to be on the paid list, there are a few ways for this to happen:

1) you are on the list already and working with us continuously

2) Ross sees you at another comedy club or night smashing it and asks you to message him with your email to add you to the list

3) smash an unpaid spot, and we will add you to the list - off the top of my head at time of writing in October 2025 - this has happened 6 times this year

4) you are not on it because of some clerical error and you are a great act, if that is the case, email us hey@goodeggcomedy.co.uk and you will be added

When paid opportunities arise, much like the unpaid spots, we will email the entire list and then select the act that works best for that room and as a nice contrast to the other performers on the line up.
