Every Wednesday and Friday we bringing the freshest comedy in Glasgow to our little magical comedy room at Gael & Grain.

From small beginnings in 2021, with a monthly show, we are now the coolest wee comedy room in the city.

We now run:
every Wednesday - Cracking New Jokes Show - a new material night for our favourite acts on the Scottish scene
every Friday - Main Event Comedy Show - pro acts in the city, a rotating line up of headline quality acts peppered throughout the show

Every March, we are the most prolific comedy producers at the annual Glasgow International Comedy Festival.  A quarter of the programme is curated by the Good Egg team.

Every June/July we run an extensive schedule of Edinburgh Fringe works in progress shows and previews.  Bringing sneak peeks of top comedy shows bound for glory and stardom at the Fringe in August.

All of our shows are incredible value.  We allow the customer to effectively choose the price they pay for our main event show, and other nights are effectively capped at a fiver, subject to change with certain shows.

The restaurant upstairs serves excellent traditional Scottish fayre and most shows you can add a burger deal (with drink) to enhance your experience.

There is parking directly outside the venue, which at time of writing is free after 6pm on midweek nights, and free all day Saturday/Sunday.

The comedy room is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, being in a basement.

All shows are 18+, no refunds if younger and refused entry.

It is a very intimate room with a capacity of 45 maximum, so please do book tickets in advance.
